Description
The Copper Kings 100 is a challenging 100-mile loop that starts and finishes at the historic Belmont Mine in Butte, Montana. The route features 63 miles on the stunning Continental Divide Trail and showcases the rugged beauty of southwest Montana. Runners will begin at 5,650 feet, climb to a high point of 8,400 feet, and tackle a total of 14,400 feet of elevation gain and loss.
After successful “fat ass” editions in 2023 and 2024, the Copper Kings 100 becomes an officially permitted race in 2025, complete with course markings, fully stocked aid stations, and all the support you’d expect from a world-class 100-miler.
