Join Montana PBS on July 13th for a special sneak peek of Jonnie, the thrilling new documentary about Montana bull riding legend Jonnie Jonckowski. Jonnie chronicles the life of woman with extraordinary mental and physical toughness, weaving together her intrepid pursuit of a world title in the 1980s with her dramatic present day story rescuing battered horses and battling a cataclysmic natural disaster. With a graceful blend of archival and verité footage, intimate interviews with top bull riding experts, and flashbacks brought to life through artful sketch animation, the feature-length documentary explores themes of resilience and the importance of finding meaning in whatever we do. Sunday, July 13th at 5pm at the Waypoint Theater. Seating is limited. First come, first served.
