Description

The Glacier Art Museum presents the 55th annual Arts in the Park with a lineup of 80 juried artist booths, plein air painters, live music, food trucks and a beer and wine garden.

Community organizations will also be holding art and nature activities for the family including The Making Place, Northwest Montana History Museum, Conrad Mansion and Wildtorium.

Kalispell's longest-running arts and music festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 18 and 19, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 20 at Depot Park, 1410 U.S. 2 W., Kalispell.

Live music begins at 11 a.m. each day, featuring musicians and bands from around the valley including the Stafford Family Band, Tim Helnore Duo, An Daire Dance Academy, Drew Landry and Friends and Second Wind.

The wine and beer garden also opens at 11 a.m. daily with local craft brews from Patriotic American Brewery and wine from Kalispell’s Waters Edge Winery. Ten food trucks will be on-site such as Carl’s Corn Dogs, Glacier Shave Ice, Fire and Dough and The Sugarhouse.

Daily admission is $5 at the gates. Three-day pass buttons cost $10, which includes $1 off all beer and wine purchases. Buttons may be purchased online at glacierartmuseum.org/park or at the art museum located at 302 Second Ave. E., Kalispell. Children 12 and under are free. Leashed dogs are welcome.

All ticket holders receive free admission to Glacier Art Museum during the festival.

Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Glacier Art Museum, formerly the Hockaday Museum of Art.

Volunteers are still needed to help with the event. Volunteers get unlimited passes to the event and are entered into a drawing. Sign up online, or email [email protected], or call 755-5258.

Arts in the Park’s presenting sponsors are the Daily Inter Lake and Toyota. Supporting partners include Kalispell Parks & Recreation, Highline Design and Glacier Bank.
