Description

Two staff members from the Israeli Embassy were “senselessly killed” Wednesday night near the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., according to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

“We are actively investigating and working to get more information to share,” Noem said in a statement on X. “Please pray for the families of the victims. We will bring this depraved perpetrator to justice.”

The D.C. Police Department has not released information about the shooting, other than the area where it took place.

Attorney General Pam Bondi said she was at the scene of the shooting, along with U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Ferris Pirro.

"Praying for the victims of this violence as we work to learn more," Bondi said.
