Whitefish Mountain Resort hosted the IFSA Junior Freeride competition this weekend. The familiar Big Mountain fog cut the competition short on the East Rim on Saturday but conditions Sunday were perfect for the participants to fly, spin and float down Haskill Slide.  

The competition featured U12 – U19 skiers and snowboarders. 

Six of the top 10 U19 men ski competitors were from the Flathead Freeride Team, including the top three spots: Bodie Mason, Liam Byrd and Brodie Kneeland. 

The top three U19 women skiers, Metta Campbell with Flathead Freeride, Pearl Goldberg with Big Sky Freeride and Anja Green with the Whistler Freeride Club led the field that was rounded out by six other Flathead Freeride team members.
